Itenerary

Day 1

Arrive Paro

On arrival at Paro airport, you will be received by our representative and take you for sightseeing and transferred to your hotel in Paro.

Day 2

Paro Sightseeing

Hike to Taktsang (Tiger Nest). Then visit to Kyichu temple (one of the oldest temples built in 7th century by Tibetan King Songtshen Gompo. Overnight at hotel in Paro

Day 03

Paro– Thimphu

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu and sightseeing in Thimphu (Buddha point, memorial chorten, Heritage museum, Changangkha temple, ZorigChusum and Takin zoo). By evening Thimphu city tour and night in Thimphu

Day 04

Thimphu – Gyenakha (14km, approximately 5hrs)

Drive for 45 minutes to reach the starting point of the trek. Then hike through mule path passing by terraced fields and coniferous forest. Overnight camp at Gyenakha (2800m) alongside a stream

Day 5

Gyenakha – Gur (8km, approximately 3hrs)

The trek begins with the view of varieties of flora and fauna and as you climb higher and higher, you can see the picturesque view of valley. Overnight camp at Gur village

Day 6

Gur – Labatamba (12km, approximately 4hrs)

While walking across the ridges, we enjoy the beauty of the rugged mountain vegetation and we can see some eatable plants grown there. The first pass marked by a large cairn gives a spectacular view of the whole Dagala range, alpine meadows and Yak harder’s camp. Overnight camp near Yutsho Lake

Day 7

Labatamba Halt

This day is for excursion to different lakes like Relitsho, Hentsho and Jamatsho where your guide will share you many different related mythical stories about the lakes. Overnight camp

Day 8

Labatamba Halt

The day is for excursion to Sertsho and nearby lakes where you can some time watching over the fish (trout) and also you can try climbing Jomo (5050m) peak and you can try enjoying the spectacular view of all ranges and peaks where it can be a wonderful experience. Overnight camp

Day 9

Labatamba – Panka (8km, approximately 3hrs)

Climb up for some time upward before beginning to descend where you can enjoy the view of different mountain ranges (Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Chomolhari, Jichu Drake, Tserimgang, Khangbum, Massangang, Tshedengang and Gangchenta). Overnight camp in Panka

Day 10

Panka – Talekha (8km, approximately 3hrs)

This day entails the crossing of several increasingly impressive passes where we can see varieties of blue poppy (if trekking in June-July) and also many mountain birds. The gradual climb will bring us to top of the last ridge on the Dagala range from where we can see the spectacular view of Thimphu valley. After that we will reach to Talekha monastery and overnight camp there.

Day 11

Talekha – Thimphu - Paro (6km, approximately 2hrs)

Visit to Talekha monastery and then we descend down to main motor road. While passing through the Monastery to road we can see mixed vegetation of alpine and bamboos and flowers. From the main motor road, we will be picked by our transport for a lunch and then transferred to Paro for a night.

Day 12

Depart from Paro Airport

After breakfast, drive to airport for flight to onward destination.
